Today my pendrive was accidentally write protected. It doesn't have any write protect and unlock key. So searh around for a while and found this tips..

  • You can either directly format the pendrive without opening it.

  • Or download this tool http://www.apacer.com/en/support/downloads/Repair_v2.9.1.1.zip
Don't insert the pen drive before you run this application.

  • Windows can all write protect flash drives. Check out this registry path,HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies.You may find a key here on the right side by the name 'WriteProtect'. If it's not there this would not be the cause of problem. If it's there, make sure that the value is 0.

Hope this helps
